The Dean 441 comes from the South African catamaran designer Peter Dean. She has asymmetric hulls and a steeply raked mast designed to give enhanced sailing performance offshore. The builder also provides an excellent interior with a little bit of luxury provided by a handcrafted interior, spacious cabins and abundant living space in the galley and saloon (6’4” headroom). All creature comforts are offered to your guests including a TV and DVD player as well as a CD players with speakers.... The 441 has an average cruising speed of about 9 knots but given the right conditions will reach 12-14 knots. She comfortably sleeps 8 and has separate heads and shower areas in both hulls. Her decks are spacious and uncluttered and the cockpit can seat 10 people comfortably. She’s a great boat for chartering and is a joy to sail.
