Luxury and space, ventilation and shade keep "Dream Catcher II" cool on the hottest days. This Marquises 60 is an owners version and has the capacity to take 6 guests. The Salon contains a large galley area with breakfast and happy hour bar. The large dining table offers comfortable seating for six guests, with beautiful Mahogany wood throughout. The salon is spacious and open, with two main seating areas port and starboard aft. The main areas are thoughtfully divided between the business and pleasure of cruising. Thus, the salon is large enough for lounging and entertaining yet with a large separate galley for preparation of your gourmet food by your qualified chef.
THE CAPTAIN: Captain Bill Kaucher was born in Southern New Jersey where he spent his youth exploring the back bays and honing his fishing skills before moving to Florida. A US Coast Guard licensed captain since 1981, he began his career teaching a student sailing program in the Bahamas. Since then he has chartered throughout the Caribbean, Central America, and the US coast from Maine to Key West, always returning to the Bahamas. He has captained various monohulls before switching to the joy of multihull sailing in the late 90's. After skippering Dream Catcher I in Belize, Honduras and New England for several years, he now sails the custom 60 foot catamaran, "Dream Catcher II." Bill is a superb spear fisherman, windsurfer, and a NAUI certified Dive Master. Guests will truly enjoy Bill's enthusiasm and knowledge of the underwater world of the tropics, and he will gladly share his vast experiences, local knowledge and love of the sea with all aboard.
CUISINE
CHEF: First mate and chef, Carol Olson has been sailing for the past 18 years, beginning on Lake Michigan in a small wet sailing sloop. Her cooking experience stems from her mentors in the catering business, her desire to eat healthy and self taught experience. Carol loves to cook using fresh fish, fruits, vegetables and flavorful herbs incorporating local specialties into her menu. Her extensive travels have made it possible for her to collect and perfect a variety of interesting dishes. Carol has a passion for food and entertaining, and is dedicated to bringing you a culinary experience while on board that will promise a tasty holiday vacation... 'Dream Catcher II' is available year round in Bahamas and Florida region. Please ask our travel consultants for specific departure locations in order to fit your precise interests and needs. On this yacht you may enjoy activities such as scuba diving with on board compressor and diving equipment, water-skiing, kayaking, snorkeling and fishing, in addition to just savoring the pristine beaches, culture, fauna and flora of the Bahamas and Florida have to offer.
