La cardinala is the largest monohull available for charter in the san blas islands. She is also the one offering the finest service: her owners love to host guests who share the same idea of quality. La cardinala is a replica of the famous sparkman & stephens plan shark 57'. She was built in 1986 and has been perfectly maintained: she is a beautiful sloop!

Massimo: skipper for a life time After growing up on como lake, racing on 470 before and afterwards on laser, he has decided to do cabin cruises to be able to reach further horizons. He has then started sailing on the “mare nostrum”. After having sailed with it in many places, massimo has decided to move a little further and has chosen the caribbean as “base”. Over the years, and avoiding crowded places, he has moved from grenada to los roches and he now sails the kuna yala (better known as san blas).
Rafaella: the passion. A perfect “hostess”. She’s the one who manages everything that happens under deck. She’s known for the great imagination developed in the kitchen by preparing the “catch of the day” with excellent taste in dishes that can be compared with the best restaurants.

Established in 1938 as an autonomous Indian territory, the land and marine park of Kuna Yala offer both land and sea treasures. How to get to San Blas:

• By plane: One flight per day, every day, departing from Panama City, Albrook airport at 6 am. The flight takes about 35 minutes.
• By road: only one road leads to San Blas from Panama City. The drive takes between 2 and 3 hours. Pick up time usually between 5-9 am).

Please Note:

The San Blas Islands archipelago is a completely remote Indian territory, with no facilities such as marinas, docks, grocery store, etc... All is supplied from Panama City by plane. The culture on these charters is very casual and one must Not expect luxury. Although, yacht chartering remains the most comfortable and enjoyable way to discover these breathtaking islands.

Payment & Cancellation Terms:

• 60% of charter fee is due upon booking. The outstanding balance is due 45 days prior to departure.
• All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following charges: A full refund less a $150.00 administration fee is given should the reservation be canceled in writing up to 6 months prior to the charter start date. If the charter is canceled within 90 days of charter start date, then 40% refund (less $150.00) is made; within 60 days of charter start date, then 30% refund (less $150.00) is made;
