Da Capo is not the biggest yacht cruising around in San Blas, but she is Quality. Built in 1989 in Sweden by famous NAJAD boatyard (great reputation of strong & comfortable sailing yachts), DA CAPO is a very well maintained sailboat. The interior of Da Capo is a good example of Scandinavian traditional boatbuilding in Honduras mahogany. It is a boat that very soon feels like “Home”. Your double cabin is snug and cozy. Your kids can choose if they want to sleep in the main cabin, close to you, or in the aft cabin with Mateo.

YOUR CREW

Mats, the captain, has got more than 40 years of sailing experience, has made four Atlantic crossings and has been cruising in San Blas for seven years. Dina, his wife, has been working as a hostess on charter boats in San Blas for ten years. Mateo, five years, is the perfect playmate and guide for your kids and a very social fellow. For him all doors in the Kuna villages are open. Mats is also very fond of good cooking and the menu on board includes Swedish specialties and personal recipes – from Swedish Pancakes to Filet Mignon and delicious dishes with lobsters and crabs !

How to get to San Blas:

• By plane: One flight per day, every day, departing from Panama City, Albrook airport at 6 am. The flight takes about 35 minutes.
• By road: only one road leads to San Blas from Panama City. The drive takes between 2 and 3 hours. Pick up time usually between 5-9 am).

Please Note:

The San Blas Islands archipelago is a completely remote Indian territory, with no facilities such as marinas, docks, grocery store, etc... All is supplied from Panama City by plane. The culture on these charters is very casual and one must Not expect luxury. Although, yacht chartering remains the most comfortable and enjoyable way to discover these breathtaking islands.

Payment & Cancellation Terms:

• 60% of charter fee is due upon booking. The outstanding balance is due 45 days prior to departure.
• All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following charges: A full refund less a $150.00 administration fee is given should the reservation be canceled in writing up to 6 months prior to the charter start date. If the charter is canceled within 90 days of charter start date, then 40% refund (less $150.00) is made; within 60 days of charter start date, then 30% refund (less $150.00) is made;
