3 alternative skippers:

Stefano: In his 40's, sporty, athletic, great swimmer and a good fisherman, open and warm, he began his sailing life on catamarans. He has done two ocean passages and three charter seasons in San Blas charter. He is the captain of Pura Vida that has brought from Italy to the Caribbean.

Amedeo: In his 50's, sporty, he has been sailing since he was a child, with three world tours and a dozen ocean passages under his belt. Outgoing and charismatic, he founded in the 90's the Floating Village of Los Roques in Venezuela. From there he moved to San Blas with his 13-meter sloop with which he sails since 2003. In 2005, he suspended his activities to participate as the only Italian captain in the Global Challenge race of the world against the wind and the current. He has written a book published by Longanesi "Headwinds"

Giorgio: He is always dividing his business consultant activity with his passion for the sea. He deals with the management of Pura Vida, but it is not unusual to see him on board in San Blas to take over the maintenance and improvement of the boat. A group of friends sharing a passion for the sea, the sailboats and the unspoiled nature of San Blas.

How to get to San Blas:

• By plane: One flight per day, every day, departing from Panama City, Albrook airport at 6 am. The flight takes about 35 minutes.
• By road: only one road leads to San Blas from Panama City. The drive takes between 2 and 3 hours. Pick up time usually between 5-9 am).

Please Note:

The San Blas Islands archipelago is a completely remote Indian territory, with no facilities such as marinas, docks, grocery store, etc... All is supplied from Panama City by plane. The culture on these charters is very casual and one must Not expect luxury. Although, yacht chartering remains the most comfortable and enjoyable way to discover these breathtaking islands.

Payment & Cancellation Terms:

• 60% of charter fee is due upon booking. The outstanding balance is due 45 days prior to departure.
• All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following charges: A full refund less a $150.00 administration fee is given should the reservation be canceled in writing up to 6 months prior to the charter start date. If the charter is canceled within 90 days of charter start date, then 40% refund (less $150.00) is made; within 60 days of charter start date, then 30% refund (less $150.00) is made;
