This Sun Legend 41' was constructed by Jeanneau with the concept of making it a fast and comfortable cruiser. This goal was achieved with the help of the famous Californian architect Douglas Petersen (designer of PRADA, finalist of the America Cup 2000). With a full batten main sail, a 90 square meter Genoa or a 120 m² gennaker, she sails beautifully from one island to the other. At anchorage, we enjoy her large cockpit well protected from the sun by a large bimini. Our dinghy, powered by a 15HP Yamaha, will happily take us to visit the most beautiful reefs and deserted islands. Tai Phou’s fully equipped with snorkeling equipment and fishing gear.

YOUR CREW

Marcelino, a 36-year old Kuna Indian, will be your captain. Formed more than a year ago in several of our ships, he has acquired the necessary knowledge to make your stay on board an unforgettable experience: sailing, cuisine, service on board, and all water sports: fishing, snorkeling, etc. As a Kuna, Marcelino will do his best to share with you the habits, food and traditions of its people, but also … the best fishing spots.
Like most of the Kunas, Marcelino loves fishing and fish. He speaks Kuna and Spanish.

Additional Info:

• By plane: One flight per day, every day, departing from Panama City, Albrook airport at 6 am. The flight takes about 35 minutes.
• By road: only one road leads to San Blas from Panama City. The drive takes between 2 and 3 hours. Pick up time usually between 5-9 am).

Please Note:

The San Blas Islands archipelago is a completely remote Indian territory, with NO facilities such as marinas, docks, grocery store, etc...) All is supplied from Panama City by plane!
The culture on these charters is very casual and one must NOT expect luxury. Although, yacht chartering remains the most comfortable way to discover these breathtaking islands.

Payment & Cancellation Terms:

• 60% of charter fee is due upon booking. The outstanding balance is due 45 days prior to departure.
• All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following charges: A full refund less a $150.00 administration fee is given should the reservation be canceled in writing up to 6 months prior to the charter start date. If the charter is canceled within 90 days of charter start date, then 40% refund (less $150.00) is made; within 60 days of charter start date, then 30% refund (less $150.00) is made;
