Saint Vincent to Grenada

Suggested 8 Day Cruising Program

The Grenadines, often referred to as "The Spice Islands", are located in the mountainous island chain between St. Vincent and Grenada. You will be captivated by the natural beauty and sheer splendor of these islands…palm fringed white sandy beaches, pristine coral reefs, brilliant turquoise waters, quaint villages and friendly people. The Tobago Cays and Worlds End Reef offer some of the best, and still virgin, diving in the Caribbean. It's a picture perfect island paradise!

DAY 1

Set sail for an exhilarating cruise south to the island of Bequia, where the age old traditions of boat building, fishing and whaling are still very much alive. Visit the local market and quaint little shops in town, or join us in an exciting dive or snorkel on Devil's Table.

Day 2:

Wake up to the aroma of fresh brewed coffee and home baked bread. After a hearty breakfast, go for a

quick dip or a dive. Favorites include West Cay, an exhilarating drift dive that takes you over the edge and down a vertical wall with dramatic overhangs…or the Boulders, a superb drift dive that passes through a tunnel which hosts groupers, jacks and an occasional nurse shark. After lunch, we'll sail to Mustique…the island of the rich and famous.

Day 3:

Explore Mustique by jeep or mountain bike, where you'll pass by the vacation homes of celebrities like Mick Jagger, David Bowe and Princess Margaret or, take a picnic lunch to Macaroni Beach. The diving and snorkeling are superb with the Wreck of the Jonas within a stone's throw of Britannia Bay and the Wreck of the Antilles further north. Go horseback riding on the beach, or sip on a tropical drink at Basil's bar and watch the sunset.

Day 4:

Hoist the main and set sail for the unspoiled island of Mayreau. Kayak ashore to the picture perfect white sand beach at Salt Whistle Bay and take a stroll amongst the palm trees. Dive or snorkel the Wreck of the Purina, where the fish life is fantastic and a perfect place for U/W photography.

Day 5:

Explore the spectacular Tabago Cays, just a short sail from Mayreau. Horshoe Reef is the perfect snorkeling ground, and the outer reef boasts some of the best

diving in the Caribbean…sites like Long Reef, Sail Rock and Worlds End Reef. The visibility here is exceptional and gigantic sea fans, gorgonians, and a variety of tropical reef fish dominate the reef. The Tobago Cays also have a strong, constant wind.

Day 6:

Sail to Sandy Island, a tiny, picture postcard island off the coast of Carriacou. The vibrant reef, with a variety of hard and soft corals and schools of juvenile fish, will enthrall snorkelers and divers alike. Venture ashore and partake in a West Indian "Jump UP".

Day 7:

Cruise to Petit St. Vincent, a private, 113 acre island heralded as the Caribbean's most luxurious and romantic hideaway. After lunch stop at Mopian, we ser sail for Canouan and anchor in Rameau Bay. This is a great island for hiking, with its secluded- beaches and spectacular views.
