Designed by Felci Yacht Design, the Dufour 37 measures 10.77m overall but, once on board, you certainly feel like you are on a much bigger boat. Elected Boat of the Year 2023 by Sail Magazine in the US, its hull-design notably features a broad bow, a give-away indication that we are in the presence of a third millennium-designed boat. The flared shape naturally provides more room for the inside fittings; indeed, the fore cabin is strikingly spacious. The boat’s performance at sea is just as impressive, thanks to the combined effects of a generous sail area and an ultra-stable, chined hull. The cockpit is another standout feature as it is generously equipped with twin steering wheels and a long table that the crew will be keen to fold up and out as soon as the boat is safely moored. This is where the plancha grill comes into play, easily accessed once the transom has been flipped into its bathing platform position. The area below deck, immediately noticeable for the design of its hull windows, is both roomy and airy.
