Day 1– Western Sambo & Key West

Charter check out at 10:00 AM. Once completed, head out for an afternoon shake down sail. Western Sambo is the closest reef site for snorkeling and will take about 1.5 hours to reach. you can also choose a sandy area somewhere in Hawk's channel to just anchor and have a swim before sailing approximately 2.5 hours to the West side of Key West to drop anchor for the night. this is the closest anchorage from the marina. Alternatively return to marina, enjoy the resort amenities and head to Key West for a night on the town.

Day 2– Key West to Marquesas

Morning departure heading to the west side of the island group which is a 1.5-2 hour sail from Boca Grande to the anchorage area.Wild & isolated, the Marquesas offers three beaches to swim & explore, and a night under the stars in utter solitude. The islands are protected turtle &bird sanctuary so keep to the beaches please and don't attempt to walk into the islands. You should not attempt to access the interior of island group with the dingy through any of the narrow channels running between islands, extremely strong currents could trap you & tidal change could strand your dinghy in inches of water. This is a weather dependent destination.

Day 3– Marquesas to Boca Grande

Approximately 1.5 hour sail. Anchor up off the beach and just have a chill out day. Or if you brought Kayaks or Paddle boards, make your way up around to the North side of the island where the currents don't run as hard and anchor for the day.

Day 4– Boca Grande to Key West

Make an early morning departure heading towards Woman Key for a peaceful day at anchor off the beach. This is a lovely site; with the longest beach you'll visit. 3.5 hour return to Marina. Alternatively head out to the reef and enjoy snorkeling three great sites at the historic San Ky Lighthouse. Eastern Dry Rocks, Rock Key and the reef area around the lighthouse. A 2 hour sail will bring you back to the marina for the night where you can top off you water, re-provision and enjoy the amenities of the resort.

Day 5– Key West to Looe Key & Newfound Harbor

Approximately 4 hours. Early morning departure for Looe Key Reef. Considered one of the finest reef sites in the Keys. Looe Key is rich in marine life, big and small. It's such a great spot it's worth of several days of exploration if you're a keen snorkeler. Plan 90 minutes to sail from the reef to your anchorage for the night in the protected waters of newfound harbor. Here, if your party is not too large, you can dinghy in to several restaurants. Also, there is the option of dining at the renowned Little Palm Beach Resort, or splurge and take a slip for the night at this 5 star luxury property ($500 for the night, reservations required, adults only, dress code).

Day 6– Newfound Harbor to Bahia Honda State Park

Take a leisurely 2 hour sail to Bahia Honda State Park, passing through the ruins of the Historic Flagler Train Trestle Bridge to enjoy exploring the beach park that you can anchor off from. There is a visitor center, walking trails & beach shower facilities. This is an anchorage spot that is very good on an Easterly wind, but it is near the highway so we personally recommend making your way back to quiet, peaceful Newfound Harbor for the night.

Day 7– Newfound Harbor to Key West

Approximately 4 hours. Make an early start of it and revisit Looe Key before the other boats arrive. Sail outside the reef if conditions allow and stop at two other snorkel sites along the way. American Shoal lighthouse & Pelican Shoal. Arrive at marina in time to refuel before dock closes.

Day 8– Check in

Your charter check-in time will coincide with your check out time. Be prepared to welcome aboard your charter representative and expect approximately one hour before disembarkation.
