BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
SAILING ITINERARIES

Twenty-five islands scatter like lush green stardust across the turquoise sea. The caves of Norman Island and Treasure Point tantalize snorkelers. Divers explore the famous wreck of the H.M.S. Rhone. On solid ground the monolithic stones of The Baths stand like nature's Stonehenge by the sea. When darkness falls, Willie T's - a moored ship turned rousing watering hole - draws a jolly mix of locals and adventurers from all over the world. Whether it's the pod of dolphins racing your bow in the dusky sunset, or the waltz of the water beneath a dazzling starscape, time in the BVI will mark your memory and change the way you think about where you want to go in the world.

Renowned for sheltered sailing and year-round excellent weather, The British Virgin Islands are considered by many to be the most popular cruising grounds in the world. The BVI's are blessed with beautiful anchorages and quintessentially Caribbean blue waters. From world class diving to fabulous snorkeling, island hopping, beach combing, or just relaxing and enjoying the spectacular sunsets.there's something to please everyone.

Day 1: Norman Island

Set sail for Norman Island, the inspiration for Robert Lewis Stevenson's famous novel, "Treasure Island". Who knows, maybe you'll find some treasure of your own as you snorkel the Caves. From there, is just a short hop to the Bight and one of the most spectacular sunsets you may ever see.

Day 2: Sir Francis Drake Channel to Salt Island

After a scrumptious breakfast, a short sail takes you to the Indians for a delightful snorkel or scuba dive. Following a lunch stop at Peter Island, we head up to Sir Francis Drake Channel to Salt Island. Here you can dive or snorkel the Wreck of the Rhone, famous for its part in the movie, "The Deep" and acclaimed as the best wreck dive in the Caribbean.

Day 3: Virgin Gorda & The North Sound

The BVI's are perhaps best recognized for the Baths, a unique formation of large boulders glittering the beach along the southern tip of Virgin Gorda. You can explore the many caverns and grottos either by foot or by snorkel. In the afternoon, sail to The North Sound, the BVI's favorite playground. The protected water lends itself to every water sport imaginable.windsurf, water-ski, kayak, play volleyball on the beach.

Day 4: Eustatia Sound & Bitter End

Venture out into Eustatia Sound, where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean. The water is crystal clear and teaming with tropical fish and reef life just waiting for you to explore. Rendezvous at the Bitter End for a smooth rum punch and listen to the steel drum band.

Day 5: Anegada

Partake in an adventurous sail to Anegada.a flat, coral atoll completely surrounded by reef. Many ships have been lost on the reef, providing an underwater paradise for scuba divers and snorklers alike. Anegada is surrounded by beautiful fish and is renowned for the best, grilled lobsters in the Caribbean.

Day 6: Marina Cay & Diamond Reef

Sail to Marina Cay.with its brightly colored villas and tropical flowers; it is undoubtedly the most spectacular island in the BVI's. The diving at Diamond Reef is some of the best to be found anywhere, and the perfect spot for a night dive right off the transom.

Day 7: Jost Van Dyke, Sandy Cay, Green Cay

Haul up the spinnaker and sail for Jost Van Dyke, The beach bar capital of the islands. Anchor at Sandy Cay for lunch and kayak to shore and explore the island. Dive at Green Cay and don't miss the entertainment at Foxy's or the Soggy Dollar Bar.

Day 8: Soper's Hole & back to Tortola

Enjoy the sunrise over the hills at Soper's Hole and take in an early, morning swim or snorkel before heading back to Tortola. Now that's the vacation of a lifetime!
